About Me
Backed by 2 years of experience in Data Engineering and Software Development, and an MS
degree in Data Science and Analytics from Georgetown University, I offer a diverse skill
set and a proven track record of success.
During my career, I have excelled in end-to-end project management, demonstrating strong
communication skills and a collaborative approach. I prioritize writing clean and
scalable code, managing and cleaning data, and delivering high-quality software.
Attention to detail and excellent time management are my strengths, allowing me to
effectively lead, motivate, and explain complex information to colleagues and
clients.
Notable projects include 'TaylorTalk: Reddit's Taylor Swift hub', where I conducted a
comprehensive
analysis of Taylor Swift's music and its impact on her audience using data from Reddit's
r/TaylorSwift subreddit and Spotify. The research delved into characteristics of Swift's
music, emotions in songs, and community discussions on Reddit. I also explored Swift's
presence on Spotify, examining language patterns in comments, gauging public sentiment,
identifying potential cyberbullying, and utilizing predictive modeling for comment
controversiality and popularity. This approach aimed to unravel the nuances of
Taylor Swift's music and her profound influence on contemporary culture.
During my tenure at Sigmoid Analytics, I successfully delivered an ETL task for the
cloud data warehouse (Firebolt) using the Prefect framework. This involved developing a
module for interacting with Firebolt databases via the firebolt-python-SDK library,
enabling efficient ETL flows with Prefect.
Overall, my diverse experience in data engineering, software development, and project
management encourages me to deliver data-driven solutions and make a meaningful
impact in
the field of data science.
